Since Google forced me to migrate off of FTP publishing and move this blog to
http://blog.microdungeons.com/ instead of plain-old microdungeons.com, I've lost 200 subscribers. This has made me unusually discouraged. 200 people aren't seeing my dungeons any more. I started using Google services because I wanted services I knew would stick around. This is a fail.
Don't be too discouraged. Some (like me) weren't lost as subscribers, but just hadn't caught up on our feeds yet.
ReplyDeleteGive it a week or so. People come and go, the ones that want to stay and read your stuff will find their way here. Consider it a bit of spring cleaning.
ReplyDeleteTry sending an email over to Grognadia.blogspot.com (or whatever it was) that's how allot of us found you and see if he'll be kind enough to say "Hey he moved to a new home, check it out"
Still here. :)
ReplyDeleteSome things online are worth actively seeking out again when they "disappear". Your blog is one of them. :)
Thanks for the encouragement! I'm feeling less crazy about the whole thing today. I figure my fellow dungeon-obsessives haven't abandoned me. :)
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, I got LiveJournal to update the feed link, so if anyone besides me happens to be following through RSS on LiveJournal, they'll be able to see your posts again.
ReplyDeleteI'm another one of those who just hadn't caught up with my reading. Now that I have, I'm glad to have found you again.
ReplyDeleteBeen behind on my reading, as well. I've updated my blogroll with your new url.
ReplyDeleteI just resubscribed as soon as I read your "moving" post yesterday; I was a week behind on my map reading! I suspect you'll see a lot of us "lost 200" trickle in over the next month or so.
