Thanks for all the Dungeons! We need more Dungeons!

It's hard for me to admit this, but I'm running out of dungeon ideas. I just finished three Gamma World dungeons and I've got nothing left.

So please send me your dungeon ideas! I'll take themes, words, geographical features; anything you've got! Post them in the comments.

Also, one random person from the comments will receive the original copy of The Meteoric Shrine of Kintok-Glau mailed to them in a simple matte frame.

13 comments:

  1. Lily-pad dungeon. Between-the-drywall dungeon. Mortuary dungeon. Mall dungeon. Gerbil run dungeon. Construction-scaffolding dungeon. Free-fall dungeon. A dungeon you have to change sizes repeatedly to navigate. A dungeon with rooms connected in time rather than space. Summer getaway dungeon. A dungeon suspended from trees. The dungeon under a theme park. Anthill dungeon. Skull dungeon!

  2. I have been having a great time sharing the dungeons with my kids. It has given me the idea to draw funny things on the plastic spoons that they take in their lunches. Now I'm writing small programs in BASIC for them to figure out. What fun!

  7. Check some of the sandbox stuff on my blog - I do many dungeon descriptions without actually fleshing the dungeon out. Maybe something there would spark your imagination. Just look for the tag "sandbox".

Also, soon I'll roll a die and someone will get a free dungeon. Woot!

  12. How about an inverse dungeon: a village mapped from the point of view of raiding monsters? You could really do a whole theme with that.
