Hoard Watcher

The Hoard Watcher is a guardian golem favored by the thaumaturges of the Southern Kingdoms. It is never surprised while guarding its hoard and fights tirelessly to protect it until destroyed. It has enormous strength and can deliver stunning blows. Hoard Watchers are programmed with a set of commands when created and will not deviate from those orders. Thus, for example, a Hoard Watcher ordered to protect a certain area will not pursue foes outside of it; a Watcher protecting a certain treasure might ignore explorers who don't interfere with it. Hoard Watchers have basic intelligence and are capable of speech, although their conversation tends to be rather mundane.
