Atomic City of the Githyanki

The Githyank build their cities near Ilithid outposts, the better to check the ambitions of their oldest foe.
Aghyth'atch, known as the Atomic City is unique among these. Neither a Githyanki construction nor a former Ilithid stronghold, it was built by unknown beings and may have wandered the Astral depths for millennia before its capture. Even now its sentient heart longs to be back on the unknown errand its creators programmed into its fiber at the dawn of time.

When you help the Atomic Heart on its mission, take +1 forward to rolls inside the city. When you hinder it, take +1 forward in dealings with Githyanki or Ilithids.

Skein of the Lesser Abyss

It is over a thousand years since the eighth cohort appeared at the obelisk, but the Zentacor still watch. Once the skein was a minor stopping point on the endless offensive of the Gith, and later, of the Ilithid slave armies in their retreat. Now it's a quiet place -- almost unearthily so, such that the rare mortals who walk there can sense the terror of endless empty, unfriendly planes of existence stretching below. Nevertheless, the place does see the occasional traveler. Every dimension nexus does. Some stay a while and make thier their lair. Others move on as quick as they can. Some are helped into oblivion by the undying denizens of the place.

The Flying Castle

A powerful wizard lords it over the land in his flying castle, yet he can't resolve the problems that lurk in his own basement!

A flying castle arrives in town. A flight of messenger crows deliver a threat and a demand for a bizarre assemblage of reagents. Will the township try to acquire the goods, or send a party to deal with the castle?

The Githyanki wars are long over, which makes it all the more alarming when an apparently abandoned flying castle drops through a portal from the Astral plane and hovers loomingly over the largest city on the continent.
